About Me:
My name is Dane Jacobs and I live in Auckland, New Zealand. I studied classical animation at Freelance Animation School and graduated at the end of 2006. During our final year at aniamtion school, myself and my friend Jeremy Hay, decided to start producing our own animated films under the name Rhubarb Zoo. Our first film was Ectype's End, which was made in a short time in 2006 and is digitally animated in After Effects. Our second film, Entropy, was completed at the beginning of 2008 and was worked on between freelance work. Entropy was originally my incomplete third year project from animation school, which we spent over a year embellishing and finishing. As of writing this, it has been accepted in 2 film festivals, one in New Zealand and one in Russia.
