I do like this one, but it IS really hard to get over the Keith Herring thing. I have run into the same problem in trying to create non-specific human figures. It would be interesting to see what you might come up with if you changed the central figure, but kept your strong, simple idea.

Well, this is what this is all about I guess. I had to do this very quickly so I tried to do it as simple as possible. If I go through to the next stage, I'd probably refine the character. I have a few new scenes in mind to add as he falls too.

Thanks, it wasn't intentional.I just wanted something not gender or racially specific. An iconic representation that could relate to everyone.

I agree with Susangone, this IS one of the better entries... It's a shame the figure looks SO MUCH like the work of Keith Harring... Does this constitute a copyright violation?

I'm really rooting for this version-- I can't believe the rating is low for it-- it's truly one of the better animatics/stories out there in the competition.

Thanks Susan, I'm a bit disappointed about the rating. But what can you do?

Call the lowballers idiots, maybe? I kid. I like how complex the story of your animation is, but how clean and simple the execution was. This is a great idea, it's really too bad for the folks that don't see this.

Hi Bill, I think the falling really works with the sort of fluid, 'stream of consciousness' feel of the track. I tried to express a similar sensation with my own effort for the same song but in a different way (erm...not meant as a shameless plug for my own entry!) anyway nice work
