All I need

i love it. its maybe not very dynamic like the guy below me said but i dont think animation has to be dynamic in order to be intresting. most of the movment in this piece are made in order to get the machines working. i think it was wise to use movment in that way to emphasize the routine. i think your work is great. could add more scenes here and there to make it more of a story. i like the scene when the genral looks at that piece of paper. i could definitely see it as a radiohead video and

i dont really feel like there is any animation in this beside a pretty standard walk cycle and really poor bell ringing loop. Your not following musical cues very well and the lack of animation would be fine if your film making was more engaging. nothing actually happens until 2:40 and your visuals arent nearly strong enough to carry the montony that long. Also having a missing scene prompt is very unprofessional.

Sorry but this shouldn't be high up in this competition. People are being rewarded for mediocrity. And that's me being flattering. This business is brutal and commercial and second raters arses are being kissed. What is this a love in?

I checked out that piece by Otomo. The style and story are completely different - i don't get what people are arguing about. This is my favorite piece. I hope you win. : )
